Family offices are upgrading their technology and making more use of outsourcing in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, a specialist says.

Valerie Mantot-Groene, regional managing director for APAC at Apex Group, said the pandemic had led family offices to focus more on risk management.

“We have seen an increasing number of family offices outsourcing their middle and back office functions,” she said at a recent webinar hosted by Apex.
