A senior executive at Standard Chartered Bank has said the firm will hire 30 to 40 private bankers a year in Asia for the next three years. StanChart’s global head for private banking and wealth management Didier von Daeniken told Reuters the firm was looking to grow its private banking assets in Asia by 50 percent to about $100 billion. Most hires will be in Hong Kong and Singapore, he said.
