Adoption of sustainable and impact investing strategies still lags behind client demand, a white paper from Morgan Stanley’s Institute for Sustainable Investing shows.
The institute surveyed 1,000 private investors in the US in 2019. It found 85 percent of this population said they were interested in the sustainable investing sector, though just over half (52 percent) actually held such an investment.
Looking at millennials in isolation: 95 percent were interested, with 67 percent holding such an investment.
