Q2 a 'mixed bag' for UK's advised platform sector

Assets on UK advised platforms increased 4.36 percent in the second quarter of 2019, up to £531.42 billion, new data from the financial services consultancy the lang cat suggests.

During the same period the MSCI World Index grew around 2.8 percent and the FTSE 100 grew 1.7 percent.

Stripping out assets from institutional, direct and other channels to market, the analysis finds that advised assets grew by 4.46 percent in Q2, increasing to £418.35 billion compared to £400.47 billion in Q1.
