Philanthropy Impact, an organisation which helps donors with their giving strategies, has appointed Rennie Hoare as its new chair.

Mr Hoare has been a trustee of the organisation since November 2018 and replaces Cath Dovey, who has chaired Philanthropy Impact since 2017. She retired in September 2020 but remains a trustee.

Mr Hoare is a partner and head of philanthropy at C Hoare & Co, where he leads the family, bank, and its customers in supporting charitable and social impact projects. This includes the bank’s donor-advised fund, The Master Charitable Trust.
