Standard Chartered appoints global head of private banking

Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Raymond Ang as global head, private and priority banking, thewealthnet has learnt.

Subject to regulatory approval, he will be responsible for the bank’s affluent client continuum.

Mr Ang will be based in Singapore and will report to Judy Hsu, the chief executive of consumer, private and business banking.

He brings 25 years of experience across consumer and private banking, and has held senior positions covering many of Standard Chartered’s target key markets, having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore.
