The ongoing crisis unfolding at Oxford-based Woodford Investment Management has raised a number of questions covering a variety of subjects. 

These range from the sustainability of so-called “star” investment managers; the influence of the buy lists produced by brokers and investment platforms on investors’ choice; the suitability of high risk investments such as the LF Woodford Equity Income Fund for risk-averse investors; and the role of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in all of this.
