Rathbones, Schroder & Co, Quilter Cheviot, Brewin Dolphin and Smith & Williamson appear to be the best positioned big UK specialist wealth management firms to survive and prosper in the aftermath of any setbacks caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Not only are all five firms well capitalised but they also have substantial cash cushions on their balance sheets.

Unlike many sectors, it is still business as normal at UK wealth management firms.
