Tracey Davidson named in new leadership role at Handelsbanken

Tracey Davidson has been named as the deputy chief executive of Handelsbanken, a newly created role.

She presently serves as the chief executive of its subsidiary Heartwood Wealth Management, purchased in 2013, and will also become chair of this business.

She replaces Michael Broom as chair, though he remains on the board as a non-executive director.

Simon Dixon, head of Handelsbanken Wealth Management, will take over the chief executive role at Heartwood on an interim basis.

All appointments are effective today (1 November).
