Trade body appoints first female chair of indices committee

Wealth management trade body PIMFA has made Alison Moynihan, partner and head of performance at Tilney Smith & Williamson, the first female chair of its private investors indices committee.

The role of the committee is to make sure that the current asset allocations of the MSCI PIMFA Index Series’ are reflective of the strategic asset allocations of PIMFA member firms.

Ms Moynihan joined Smith & Williamson in 2002 prior to which she worked for Julius Baer as head of performance. She also held performance roles at HSBC Asset Management and Nomura International.
