UBS doubles paternity leave for Swiss bankers

UBS’s male employees in Switzerland will from 2021 be entitled to four weeks’ paternity leave on full pay, up from the current two.

The Swiss bank said the move was part of a shift to become “even more family-friendly”. It also offers mothers 30 weeks’ maternity leave.

If both parents work for UBS, after statutory leave, they are free to choose who takes how much paid parental leave.
