The UK is falling behind Europe in terms of female representation in the boardroom despite a rise in female board members, according to a report from Deloitte.
The international study - which was created in collaboration with campaign group The 30% Club - examined over 10,000 publicly listed companies, 509 of which were from the UK.
It found that just 30.1 percent of UK board seats were held by women.
