For the past thirty five years the annual Sunday Times Rich List (STRL) has provided an interesting and sometimes entertaining oversight of the richest individuals with UK associations in terms of the volume and source of wealth they own.
The 2023 edition is no exception in this respect.
Nonetheless, notwithstanding its pioneering efforts to identify, quantify and rank the wealth of very rich individuals and families over a now extended time frame, the STRL has some shortcomings.
