'We are still no further' in the Brexit process, says UBS

Yesterday (27/03/2019) MPs debated and then voted on eight different options, ranging from leaving the European Union (EU) without a deal to revoking Article 50 but the “broad consensus remained elusive”, according to Dean Turner, UK economist at UBS global wealth management.

“As things stand we are no further in the process and we still await the next moves from the government benches,” he said.

However, the key question is whether the government will hold a third meaningful vote on the Withdrawal Agreement.
