Wealth firm buys £480m AUM adviser in seventh 2020 deal

Fairstone, a large UK financial planning firm, has bought a competitor in a deal expected to bring in £480 million in funds under management.

Fairstone is acquiring Epsom, Surrey and Twickenham-based Mantle Financial Planning through its ‘downstream buyout’ model which involves gradually integrating a firm over two years before the deal finalises.
