The Financial Conduct Authority has confessed to accidentally revealing the details of people who complained about it.
The regulator mistakenly published details including names, addresses and phone numbers on its website in response to a Freedom of Information request in November 2019. The breach affected about 1600 complainants, though most of them did not have all their details revealed.
