WH Ireland flags loss-making year, blaming pandemic

Wealth manager WH Ireland has said it expects to post another loss this year, delaying its goal of becoming profitable, following a restructure which has been ongoing for several years.

The firm said in a trading update this morning that it would likely post an operating loss of approximately £2.2 million for the year ending 31 March 2020. This was against revenues of about £21.3 million and excludes the impact of “exceptional items” the firm said.
