Ironwood Capital has appointed Patrick Patrell as an analyst.

Mr Patrell will be working on the private equity firm's Connecticut-focused investment activities.

In his new role, will be responsible for reviewing new investment opportunities, conducting research, performing financial modelling and due diligence, alongside ongoing portfolio management.

Carolyn Galiette, president and chief investment officer at Ironwood Capital, said: "Prior to joining Ironwood as an analyst, Patrick served as an intern with both Cigna Investment Management and Ironwood. We are pleased that his internship with us has turned out so well for Patrick and for the firm."
