Luxembourg ManCo FundRock appoints chief transformation officer

Third party asset management company (ManCo) FundRock has hired Lee Marshall as chief transformation officer and director of group strategic clients at the firm’s home market, Luxembourg.

It is a newly created role aimed at accelerating strategic priorities and optimizing the integration of operations in multiple jurisdictions.

FundRock has been busy in terms of hiring since the end of last year when CEO Revel Wood left. The company brought in Xavier Parain from the French financial markets regulator the AMF. Mr Wood, in a unique move teamed up with former rival Carne Group Luxembourg CEO Steve Bernat to start ONE Group Solutions.

In this latest hire, Mr Marshall joins from MasonBower where he was chief operating officer. Prior to that position, he spent six years at fund data management firm Kneip, including a spell as COO as well as head of operations and ICT Infrastructure.

Mr Marshall has over 20 years experience in the industry and spent almost 14 years at J.P. Morgan Bank as a senior product manager for their European fund administration arm.

Mr Parain, current CEO, said in a statement: “We are delighted to have Lee join our team. His deep experience in providing client solutions will be key to a seamless services production and delivery. With primary focus on our clients, we believe this development will further enable them make avail of the breadth of our capabilities and tailored services and leverage off our multi-jurisdictional platform.”
