Victory Hill Capital Advisors has expanded its investment team with the appointment of Gregory Scopelitis as principal in investments.

He joins Victory Hill from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and was previously a director in the structured finance team at Mizuho Bank in London.

He has also previously held roles at the World Bank, the European Investment Bank (EIB), Proparco - the principal investment arm of the Agence Francaise du Development, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Societe Generale within its structured credit department.

In his new role, Mr Scopelitis will be responsible for the origination and execution of new investments for Victory Hill Capital Advisors, as well as for portfolio asset value enhancement.

A specialist in the global energy and infrastructure sector, Mr Scopelitis has over 15 years of experience in project financing in both structured and corporate finance across conventional and renewable energy. He has acted as an investor, financial advisor and lender in a diverse range of developed and emerging markets across the globe.
