Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of the investment bank has bolstered its international equities team.
The firm has hired Candida de Silva as senior portfolio specialist and Helena Miles as a generalist research analyst.
Ms de Silva joins from BlackRock, where she spent 11 years, most recently as Head of the UK Charities & Endowments business, having previously served as Head of EMEA Retail Marketing.
Prior to BlackRock, Ms de Silva was Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management following four years at BNY Mellon and its subsidiary Newton Investment Management, covering international marketing for their institutional and intermediary businesses
.Ms Miles joins the International Equity investment team at MSIM from Capital Group where she covered Luxury Goods and Retail. Prior to capital group, Helena covered European Business Services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
She will work closely with portfolio managers, Nic Sochovsky and Alex Gabriele as a generalist Research Analyst across the Global Franchise, Global Quality, Global Sustain and International Equity portfolios.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management has $463 billion in assets under management.
