James Tracey
Private client, corporate services and fund administration business Oak Group has appointed James Tracey as managing director of its Guernsey funds business.
He will be joining Oak Fund Services, subject to regulatory approval, which delivers bespoke fund administration services to private equity, open ended, listed and alternative asset fund structures.
Mr Tracey has joined Oak from JTC Group in Guernsey, where was managing director since 2018.
He has been in the finance industry for more than 20 years and is aware of investment and wealth management structures across a wide variety of asset classes.
He has worked in Guernsey since 2001 and has held positions at a number of management and investment companies in the Channel Islands and UK, including being director for Kleinwort Benson (now Kleinwort Hambros) and Close Asset Management.
Mr Tracey is also a member of the Chartered Securities and Investments Institute and has completed exams for the Chartered Governance Institute.
He will succeed Paul Schreibke, who is taking up a new role for Oak in Mauritius.
