Alexandre Renault, head of real estate asset management, and Margaux Cugura, real estate fund manager.
Asset manager Quaero Capital has made two appointments in its real estate team with Alexandre Renault as head of real estate asset management and Margaux Cugura as real estate fund manager.
Mr Renault will report to Jérôme Dulon, director of asset management within Quaero Capital’s real estate division. He will be responsible for deploying value enhancement strategies for all real estate assets under management, both office and educational.
Mr Renault has over 16 years of experience in real estate, having managed portfolios of real estate assets in France, Germany, and the Netherlands for LFPI REIM and then Perial Asset Management.
Since 2017 Ms Cugura has held the position of auditor in the real estate division at PwC where she dealt with legal audits for real estate companies. She will report to head of real estate, Olivier Lutz.
Ms Cugura will be responsible for the financial and administrative monitoring of the two OPPCIs under management, as well as the analysis and structuring of investments.
She will also supervise the creation of new funds starting in 2023.
Quaero Capital currently manages EUR3 billion for European institutional clients and aims to create new funds from 2023 to reach EUR500 million under management by 2025 for its real estate division.
