Suntera Global (Suntera) has bolstered its international funds business with the appointment of Ryan Taylor as head of funds in Jersey.

Suntera is a multi-jurisdictional provider of corporate, fund and private wealth services. It has over 290 specialists supporting a global client base from offices in the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, the Isle of Man, Malta and Switzerland.

In his new role, Mr Taylor will establish the firm’s funds business on the island, with overall responsibility for developing and managing the new fund administration team in the jurisdiction and growing its client base. 

Before joining Suntera, he was a director of fund services in Jersey for the ZEDRA Group. He has also held multiple senior positions in Jersey’s financial services space.

This includes heading up the trust and funds client accounting team for a Jersey-based service provider and acting as a director on a number of corporate and fund client boards.

Working closely with funds heads in other jurisdictions, he will be focused on maximising Suntera global’s multi-jurisdictional offering through Jersey to meet fund manager and investor needs.

His appointment follows Suntera Global being granted a licence by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) to provide fund administration services on the island, enabling it to support private equity, real estate, venture capital and other alternative fund managers with a full range of administration services.
