One million trusts in the UK could be caught out by trust register extension

Up to 1 million trusts in the UK could be caught by an extension to the requirement to sign up to HMRC’s non-taxable trust register, according to tax specialists from Collyer Bristow and Wedlake Bell. 

Those failing to sign up by 1 September 2022 risk fines and difficulties accessing professional advice.
