Tax receipts for Q1 2019 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland fell by 26.2 percent on the previous quarter, according to London Central Portfolio (LCP) who did an analysis of HMRC’s Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) statistics.
They now stand at £1,757 million a drop of £623 million since Q4 2018 whilst transactions fell 21.4 percent in Q1 2019 and now stand at 237,240.
