81 percent of millennials would relocate up to 4,000 miles for work, research finds

Feeling homesick does not seem to be a problem for most millennials, as new research from mobile current account Monese has found that 81 percent of the generation would relocate up to 4,000 miles in the pursuit of work, saying sayonara to an office in the UK and taking up posts in North America.

Embracing the digital nomad culture and breaking free from the traditional 9-5 office routine, it appears young Brits are keen to broaden their horizons. 85 percent deliberate developing transferable skills to enable them to work anywhere, any time and it is the emerging digital industries that are peaking their interest the most.
