Over a quarter of UK adults in relationships do not have any financial protection against divorce, according to research conducted by wealth manager Kleinwort Hambros.
The research, which questioned over 1300 people who are married, in a relationship or a civil partnership, found that 27 percent of British adults in a relationship, equating to roughly 8.7 million people, do not have any financial protection to cover themselves in the event of a relationship breakdown, while 37 percent admitted they were unsure whether they had any financial protection.
