Global financial services provider Apex Group has acquired US-based Greenough Consulting Group (GCG).

GCG is a provider of finance, accounting, and human resources services to technology companies, venture capital and private equity funds.

This deal should help strengthen Apex’s position in the US market. The addition of the GCG business broadens the group’s presence in North America through the addition of an office in Burlingame, CA as well as 50 employees.

This brings the firm’s Americas headcount to nearly 600. In total, Apex has 5,000 employees across 50 offices.
