Appleby settles with BBC and Guardian over Paradise Papers dispute

Appleby has reached a settlement with the BBC and the Guardian over its breach of confidence claim resulting from the Paradise Papers.

Appleby said that its main objective was to “understand which of its confidential and privileged documents had been taken so that Appleby could for example respond meaningfully to clients, regulators and colleagues about what information, relating to them, has been taken.”
