Independent fund and corporate services provider Aztec Group has appointed Joel Kavyu as associate director within its private equity team.

Based in Jersey, Mr Kavyu will lead a relationship team and oversee the delivery of fund accounting, financial reporting, investor services and a range of other administrative activities.

Mr Kavyu joins the firm from Autonomy Capital where he was group financial controller. Prior to this, he was finance operations manager at HSBC in Jersey and also worked in the audit team of BDO in Guernsey. He began his career in East Africa at PKF.
