BVI Premier arrested on cocaine and money laundering charges

The premier of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) has been arrested for alleged money laundering and drug smuggling in the US.

Andrew Fahie was arrested in Miami alongside two others by US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents working undercover.

The trio have been charged with conspiracy to import more than 5kg of cocaine into the US and conspiring to commit money laundering with Mr Fahie having agreed a US$700,000 fee to allow smugglers to use BVI ports, ch...
