Many perceive a shift of society’s attitude towards wealth in recent years.  This shift has now been exacerbated by the Covid- 19 pandemic as many in the western world view the widening gap between the very top and the bottom as morally unacceptable. The Covid-19 crisis is not only likely to become the cause of a further global recession but has also held a mirror up to the social inequalities so pervasive in our societies today. The US in particular, but also the UK, has seen social unrest and discontent fuelled by healthcare inequality and as seen by the Black Lives Matter movement.
