Charities expected to benefit as millennials plan to give away inheritance

One in eight (12 percent) of under 45s who expect to inherit plan on giving some of the money to charity, according to Sanlam UK’s Generation Game report.

Among the same age group, venture philanthropy (10 percent), socially responsible investing (26 percent), and impact investing (15 percent) are also popular.

This contrasts with 20 percent, five percent and six percent respectively for over 55s.
