Chinese nationals accounted for largest number of HNWs relocating to UK last year

The largest number of high net worth (HNW) individuals relocating to the UK last year came from China, with 650 non-domiciled individuals moving to the UK.

The figures, which came from private wealth law firm Boodle Hatfield, found that HNWs from Hong Kong represented the second largest group of HNWs moving to the UK with 620 non-domiciled individuals relocating to the UK last year. Hong Kong was followed by Spain in third place with 470 HNWs relocating to the UK.
