Insurer Chubb has appointed Janet Edey as head of management liability for the UK and Ireland, effective immediately. 

In this role, Ms Edey will have responsibility for leading and overseeing the development and execution of Chubb's management liability strategy which includes areas such as directors' and officers' liability, pension trustee liability, employment practices liability, crime, initial public offering liability and kidnap and ransom.
