One of the City’s most iconic networking events, the Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon, is set to return for its 33rd year on 28 September 2021.

Guests will be welcomed to Drapers’ Hall on London’s Throgmorton Avenue for this unique event which has developed a loyal following since its inception 33 years ago.

Four hundred guests will enjoy a standing lunch in the unique and historical surroundings of Drapers' Hall, with the opportunity to explore the great Livery Hall, reception rooms and tranquil outdoor spaces.

A canapé lunch will be served and there will also be a raffle held during the event with many fantastic items to be won. Tickets can be bought here.

Following a year of lockdowns and isolation, the committee said they were delighted to be able to welcome friendly faces, both familiar and new, back to the Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon in person to support the vital work of Cure Parkinson’s.

Over the five years that the luncheon has supported Cure Parkinson’s, including the virtual event of 2020, it has raised more than £360,000 for the charity’s mission to find new treatments with the potential to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s.

Rupert Phelps, chairman of the Gulls’ Eggs committee, said: “The committee are truly enthused to be planning the next Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon, representing an unbroken third of a century, albeit with last year being virtual.

“We so look forward to welcoming both regular and new faces. With 95 percent of the charity’s fundraising events cancelled or postponed in 2020, Cure Parkinson’s revenue was down by 16 percent last year due to Covid-19 and we are determined to raise meaningful funds to support their critical work in funding research to find a cure for Parkinson’s.

“They are the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to this goal. To this end, if your company may generously be able to be a sponsor, please contact Jess below and she will put you in touch with one of the committee members.”

Please note that 400 tickets have initially been allocated for this event in the hope of increasing this in due course, UK government guidelines permitting. The latest government guidelines will be followed very closely to ensure that everyone that attends can do so safely.

If your company is interested in sponsoring this event, or if you have any other queries, please contact jessica@cureparkinsons.org.uk or call 0207 487 3892 to find out more.

The committee would like to thank the headline sponsor, CRUX Asset Management, for once again generously supporting The Gulls' Eggs Luncheon.
