Approximately 11.3 percent of Europe’s fleet of private jets may be blocked from flying, according to research from London-based Colibri Aircraft, which specialises in the marketing, resale and purchase of pre-owned private aircraft.
This is because it could be uneconomical to upgrade these 219 planes with a new monitoring system that becomes mandatory to have by 7 June 2020, effectively prohibiting them from flying.
