Miniature fairy dwellings have been appearing in glens, beaches and on hillsides on the Isle of Man as part of a project by Swedish art collective Anonymouse MMX.
The island has a long history with folklore, with references to fairies being recorded in George Waldron's Manx notebook in 1731.
The ‘houses’ are made from materials including stone, wood, copper, antique glass and paper clips. Some of them even light up.
They stand at around 30cm tall and were designed and built in Malmo, Sweden, before being transported to the island.
Anonymouse MMX is known for leaving its miniature creations around...
