UK law firm Forsters has appointed Patrick Harney as head of the firm’s private client department.

Mr Harney joined Forsters in 2007 as a partner in the private client team and has over 19 years of experience in tax, trust and estate planning in the UK, Ireland and the US.  

He succeeds partners Fiona Smith and Andrew Lane who have held the position jointly and will now fully focus on client commitments.
