Former England footballer turned sports broadcaster Gary Lineker has won his tax appeal against HMRC.
The appeal was over a £4.9 million tax bill.
HMRC pursued Mr Lineker over taxes on income from both the BBC and BT Sport from 2013 to 2014 and 2017 to 2018.
HMRC said he was an employee of both broadcasters but a judge ruled he was a freelancer and had contracts with both broadcasters.
