Gateley increases profits

Legal and professional services group Gateley has reported adjusted pre-tax profits of not less than £7 million in the first six months of the year.

In a trading update ahead of its half year results for the period ended 31 October 2020, the firm said this is an increase in profit from the £6.6 million reported a year earlier. This is in part due to the cost-reduction initiatives put in place during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Gateley generated revenues of not less than £50.0 million, a slight decrease from the £51.8 million reported a year earlier.
