Grant Thornton International has promoted Francesca Lagerberg to global leader – tax services. She replaces Ian Evans who is retiring after six years on the global leadership team and 26 years as a partner in the UK firm.

Ms Lagerberg, who is currently head of tax for the UK firm, will take on the role with effect from 1 July 2013 but will begin the transition to this role in April 2013.
