Guernsey Finance chairman appointed as trustee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association fund

Guernsey Finance chairman Lyndon Trott has been appointed as an independent trustee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s (CPA) trust funds.

He is also vice president of the States of Guernsey policy & resources committee, making him a Deputy.  He is the first States of Guernsey member to hold this role.

Deputy Trott will work alongside the Secretary-General and the Treasurer of CPA International for a three-year term.

He was short-listed after applying for the role in October, when the CPA had asked for expressions of interest in the position from its 17,000 members.
