Guernsey regulator and Middle East counterpart sign MoU

The Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its counterpart, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Signed this month (06/09/16) by the GFSC’s director general William Mason and the FSRA and ADGM’s chief executive, Richard Teng, the MoU aims to assist cooperation on the supervision of cross-border establishments and the exchange of information. It also intends to encourage best regulatory practice in both jurisdictions.
