How inflation is impacting school fee planning

With the cost-of-living skyrocketing, and inflation at a 40 year high, a challenge is posed for parents privately educating their children.

Historically, school fees tend to increase at a higher rate than inflation. A report from the Independent School Council (ISC) found that the average day fee is £15,191 for each academic year. Based on these figures, the cost of education through to 18 could exceed £200,000.
