Catherine de Maid is a partner in the private client team at independent UK law firm Burges Salmon.

Ms de Maid trained at a London firm and qualified into private client before moving to Burges Salmon in 2000. She worked there for a few years before moving to Cape Town in South Africa, where she worked at a large South African law firm before joining a private bank as in house counsel to an offshore trust company.
