Jersey's finance industry reports record high figures for second quarter of 2018

Banking deposits are rising and the value of the funds industry in Jersey is at a record high according to latest figures on the size of the finance industry, Jersey Finance stated. 

The statistics collated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) show that the net asset value of regulated funds under administration grew by £15 billion during the second quarter of 2018 to stand at £296 billion at 30 June 2018, the highest recorded figure to date. 

At the same time, banking deposits are also higher at £121.2 billion, the most since March 2016 and £5.7 billion higher than in March 2...
