Slightly less than half (44 percent) of British homeowners would pay more money for a piece of property tagged with Banksy art, according to online estate agent eMoov.co.uk.
While some would pay five percent more of the property’s value, some would be willing to pay up to 30 percent more. On Essex Road, Islington, lies the most affordable ‘Banksy house’ which features a painting of children flying a Tesco bag as a flag can be found. The houses in the street are around £350,000, compared to the borough average of £779,899.
