KPMG research finds CEOs confident about future despite expecting a recession

More than eight in ten global and UK chief executives expected a recession over the next 12 months, according to KPMG’s 2022 CEO Outlook.

However, the research, which surveyed over 1,300 CEOs at the world’s largest businesses, also expected it to be a mild and short recession.

It revealed 71 percent of CEOs expected it to impact company earnings by 10 percent, with 73 percent expecting it to impact growth.
